Dr. Steven Lowinger is a board certified optometric physician specializing in primary eye care and contact lenses. He has been practicing in south Florida for the past 18 years. He is the managing Optometrist of Lowinger Eyecare and Lowinger Eyecare Miami Lakes.
Dr. Lowinger is proficient in providing eye examinations for the diagnosis, management and treatment of conditions of the eyes and visual systems as well as the fitting of various types of specialty contact lenses. He is a contact lens specialist and has published numerous articles and lectures on contact lenses, multifocal contact lenses, and contact lens solutions.
Dr. Lowinger graduated from the Universtiy of Florida in 1991 with a Bachelors in Business Administration and then got his Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in 1995.
Dr. Lowinger is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Florida Optometric Association, and Energeyes, The Association of Corporate affiliated Optometrists, of which he is a board member.
Dr. Shenila Rajani is a national board certified optometric physician specializing in primary eye care, custom contact lens fitting, and non-surgical overnight vision correction known as orthokeratology. A native of Manhattan Beach, California, she has recently moved to Miami, Florida after her marriage.
Dr. Rajani is proficient in providing comprehensive eye exams for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of eye conditions including dry eyes and open angle glaucoma. She is also, a contact lens specialist and holds certifications for contact lens fitting in Paragon CRT, Dreamlens, Contex OK-E, Vipok II and XC, and BE Retainer lens. Dr. Rajani has volunteered for multiple non-profit organizations which includes FUDEM, Special Olympics, and Aga Khan Foundation. Through FUDEM, Dr. Rajani went on a mission to El Salvador and provided comprehensive eye exams to the economically vulnerable.
She has received her Bachelor of Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine and has received her Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences.
Dr. Rajani speaks fluent English, Hindi, Urdu, and conversational Spanish.
